Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. A contract between you and Dorian House will come into existence upon the date upon which you reserve a room with us. Your contract is with Dorian Bath Ltd.
Check-in / Check-out
Our standard check-in times are between 2-8pm. If you wish to arrive before 2pm we will do our best to arrange for your room to be ready or alternatively hold your luggage for you. If you are likely to arrive after 8pm, you will be able to use our key-safe facility. Please ask us for details. Our check-out times 8-11am. Our latest check-out time is 11am.
Monday-Friday 8-9.30am. Saturday-Sunday 8.30-10am.
Rooms may be reserved online with a valid credit or debit card. Please note that the maximum occupancy of each room is 2 persons and this includes children. On occasion we may permit an extra bed (on request prior to reservation and subject to availability). The additional charge is £30 per night. This option is only available in limited room types. Regrettably no pets are allowed.
Standard bed & breakfast rate – payment terms: We reserve the right to charge the full price of your booking to the card you provided with your reservation 3 days before your arrival date, once you are inside our cancellation policy period. Should you make a booking less than 3 days before your arrival, we will charge your card at the point of booking. If your card is declined, please be aware that your booking will be cancelled.
We regret we have had to introduce this policy due to an unsustainable rise in the number of last minute cancellations and invalid credit/debit card details being provided by guests.
Advance Purchase Rate bookings: Payment is due in full at the point of booking and all payments are non-refundable. Once booked, booking dates are not modifiable.
A minimum 2-night stay is required at weekends (a “weekend” includes a Friday or Saturday night).
Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email subject to your providing a valid email address.
Group bookings (3 or more rooms)
If you wish to book 3 or more rooms different policies may apply and therefore you will need to contact us at Dorian House directly prior to reserving as we do not generally accept groups. We are a small and intimate B & B and our main concern is the peaceful enjoyment of the hotel for all our guests.
Cancellations must be made by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) at least 72 hours prior to your planned arrival date to receive a refund of any payment previously made. If you cancel less than 72 hours before your due date of arrival or fail to arrive at the hotel ('no show'), we will charge your credit/debit card with 100% of the value of your booking. We recommend guests ensure they have valid travel insurance in place in case of the need to cancel your booking.
Bad weather policy
In the event of bad weather conditions, Dorian House will fully apply our cancellation policy.
Room rates shown on our website are per room, per night and include breakfast and VAT. Room rates are subject to change.
We are required by law to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom and/or the European Union shall on check-in provide their full names and addresses. All other guests must on check-in provide details of a valid passport.
We provide complimentary on-site parking to guests (and also on street parking outside the hotel with our own parking permits) both strictly subject to availability. We cannot guarantee a parking space. Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owners' risk.
We reserve the right to make a charge of up to £250 for any damage caused to a room by a guest.
Dorian House is a strictly non-smoking establishment anywhere in the building and its environs. Should you smoke in your room, our fire system will probably trigger and we will charge a fee of £100.00 to your card for having to undertake a deep clean of your room.
Dorian House reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice an individual’s stay at Dorian House where deemed necessary.
